Have you been interested in going 'green'? One easy way to do so is by using wool dryer balls! Rather than buying dryer sheets over and over, you can make 3 of your very own 100% wool dryer balls at Maker Mountain Studios. Wool dryer balls can be reused a countless number of times and help to reduce static cling and wrinkles from your laundry.
During this one hour class, each attendee will be supplied with the materials to complete 3 dryer balls. Each attendee will finish at least one ball in class and then be able to take their supplies home to complete the rest. The cost for the class is $25 per attendee.
About the Instructor: Raeschell Noonen began her fiber art training by learning to knit in elementary school, then making her own clothing in junior high school. Pottery, painting, sewing, and design were part of her high school and college curriculum. Once her five children were raised, she put llamas, alpacas, and angora rabbits in her backyard and started her own fiber art business in Mount Vernon. She teaches weaving at Kenyon College and has a schedule of classes in weaving, spinning, felting and dyeing at her shop, Nimby Acre Fiber Art.
